1. Scope and Relationship to Other Policies
1.1 This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through Sparktronics websites, mobile apps, online accounts, and related digital channels (collectively, the “Online Services”), including pre-visit planning tools, account dashboards, and those pages you scroll past to get to ticket prices.
1.2 This Policy does not replace our on-site Data & Brainwave Use statement or Neural Consent Policy, which govern what happens when you connect your brain or body directly to our hardware. If you are plugged in, please read those as well, or at least admit you did not.
1.3 By accessing or using the Online Services, you agree that your use is subject to this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Presence (to the extent applicable), and any additional notices presented to you. If you do not agree, your practical option is not to use the Online Services and to rely on printed brochures, if any still exist.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 We collect information in three main ways: you tell us, your devices tell us, and our systems guess.
- Information you provide. When you create an account, buy tickets, sign up for newsletters, participate in promotions, contact support, or otherwise interact with forms, we collect information such as your name, contact details, login credentials, preferences, and any emotional oversharing you type into free text fields.
- Information collected automatically. When you use the Online Services, we automatically collect technical and usage data such as IP address, device identifiers, browser and OS type, app version, language, time zone, pages viewed, links clicked, session duration, and approximate location derived from your network or device settings.
- Information from other sources. We may receive information about you from our park systems, ticketing partners, payment processors, marketing platforms, or social logins, where permitted by law and the settings you forgot you agreed to.
2.2 We may combine information collected through Online Services with data from offline interactions, such as in-park visits, support requests, or loyalty programs, to maintain a unified view of “you” as a guest, user, and occasional survey respondent.
4. How We Use and Share Information
4.1 We use the information we collect through the Online Services for purposes including:
- Providing the services. Processing transactions, managing accounts, delivering content, and operating features you intentionally or accidentally interact with.
- Improving and securing our systems. Monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, preventing fraud or misuse, and updating security controls.
- Personalization. Tailoring content, recommendations, and communications based on your interactions, preferences, and the collective wisdom of users similar to you.
- Communications. Sending transactional messages (such as purchase confirmations) and, where allowed, marketing messages about offers, updates, and features we think might interest you more than they annoy you.
- Legal, safety, and compliance. Complying with legal obligations, enforcing terms, protecting rights and property, and cooperating with lawful requests from authorities.
4.2 We share information with:
- Service providers. Vendors that support hosting, infrastructure, payments, analytics, communications, customer support, and similar functions. They are contractually required to handle data as instructed and not to launch their own theme parks with it.
- Affiliates and related entities. Other Sparktronics entities that use data consistent with this Policy and applicable law, for coordinated operations and unified guest experiences.
- Business partners. When you participate in joint promotions, contests, or co-branded experiences, we may share limited necessary information with the relevant partner, as described at the time.
- Authorities and others. Where required or permitted by law, or when necessary to protect our guests, staff, property, or systems, we may disclose information to law enforcement, regulators, or other third parties.
- Corporate transactions. In connection with mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, or asset transfers, information may be shared with actual or potential counterparties and their advisers, subject to appropriate obligations.
4.3 We may use and share aggregated or de-identified information for any purpose, provided it does not reasonably identify you. This includes publishing trends, statistics, and “people really like this page” statements that keep our analytics teams employed.
5. Your Choices, Rights, and Updates
5.1 You have choices regarding how we use certain information:
- Account settings. Where available, you can update contact details, preferences, and certain privacy settings directly in your account.
- Cookies and tracking. You can manage cookies via browser controls and, where required, via consent tools we provide. Some categories may be optional; some are structurally necessary for the site to work.
- Communications. You can opt out of marketing emails by using unsubscribe links or adjusting preferences. We may still send you non-marketing messages such as service or transactional notices.
5.2 Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights such as:
- Requesting access to certain information we hold about you.
- Requesting correction of inaccurate data.
- Requesting deletion or restriction of certain data.
- Objecting to certain processing, including profiling for direct marketing.
- Withdrawing consent where processing is based on consent.
5.3 We will respond to valid requests within applicable legal timeframes and may require verification of your identity. Some data may be retained where necessary for legal, security, or operational reasons, but we may limit its use to those purposes.
5.4 We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in law, technology, or how people actually use our Online Services (as opposed to how the design deck imagined they would). Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek consent.
5.5 Continued use of the Online Services after an update becomes effective indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. If you disagree, you should discontinue use of the Online Services and consider low-bandwidth hobbies.
