1. Definitions and Scope
1.1 For purposes of this Disclaimer, “Sparktronics Interfaces” include, without limitation: in-park staff, costumed characters, animatronics, show controllers, guest support kiosks, chat systems, neural overlays, queue entertainment AIs, and any other entity that speaks to you in a believable tone of voice.
1.2 “Agency” means a legal relationship in which one party (the agent) is authorized to act on behalf of another (the principal) and can bind that principal in contracts, obligations, or regrettable decisions. You are the principal of your own life. Sparktronics does not volunteer to be.
1.3 This Disclaimer applies throughout all Sparktronics environments and channels, including physical domes, online properties, neural sessions, and any pre-visit or post-visit communication that plausibly looks “official.”
2. No Agency, No Fiduciary Duty
2.1 Nothing you see, hear, click, tap, nod at, or mentally acknowledge in connection with Sparktronics creates an agency relationship between you and Sparktronics or any Sparktronics Interface. This remains true even if the interface says it is “on your side.”
2.2 Sparktronics Interfaces are not authorized to:
- Enter into contracts on your behalf.
- Negotiate or accept legal terms for you.
- Provide legal, medical, financial, or spiritual advice.
- Waive rights or remedies you may have under applicable law.
2.3 Sparktronics does not owe you a fiduciary duty in connection with your visit, neural session, or continued patronage. We will attempt to make your experience enjoyable. We are not obligated to place your interests above our own business objectives.
2.4 Any perceived “special relationship” arising from repeat visits, high loyalty status, memorable interactions with staff, or the sense that a certain animatronic truly understands you is purely emotional and has no legal effect.
3. Automated Systems and Characters
3.1 Many Sparktronics Interfaces are automated or scripted systems, including neural agents that adapt to your behavior. Their output may resemble conversation, negotiation, or empathy. It is none of those things in any legally relevant way.
3.2 By interacting with automated systems, you agree that:
- They are not your agents or representatives.
- They do not have the authority to bind Sparktronics beyond published policies and offers.
- They may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or entertaining at the expense of accuracy.
3.3 Characters, performers, and in-universe roles (for example, “Chief Safety Magician,” “Quantum Concierge,” or any figure in a robe) speak within a fictional or thematic context. Statements made in character do not modify real-world contracts, tickets, or legal terms, even when they involve words like “promise,” “guarantee,” or “destiny.”
3.4 If an automated system or character appears to agree to something valuable (“free lifetime access,” “I will pay your rent,” “you are now ruler of the dome”), you understand that this remains, at most, part of the show.
4. Instructions, Advice, and Suggestions
4.1 Operational instructions (for example, “pull the lap bar,” “remain seated,” “do not lick the holograms”) are provided for safety and functionality. Following them does not create an agency relationship; it simply reduces the probability of weird outcomes.
4.2 Any suggestions regarding life choices, relationships, career moves, or existential questions that emerge from Sparktronics Interfaces are incidental and not tailored advice. If you reorient your life because a queue bot told you to “follow your heart,” that is your artistic decision, not our liability.
4.3 Guest support channels may provide information about tickets, policies, and experiences. These communications are informational only. If there is a conflict between verbal or chat-based representations and the written terms published on this site, the written terms prevail, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
4.4 You remain responsible for:
- Reading and understanding the terms that apply to your visit.
- Seeking independent advice on legal, medical, or financial matters.
- Deciding whether to act on anything said by a talking robot in a themed environment.
5. Changes and Survival
5.1 Sparktronics may update this Disclaimer of Agency from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” information associated with this page and may be mentioned in other channels that we deem sufficient for people paying a normal amount of attention.
5.2 Your continued interaction with Sparktronics Interfaces after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Disclaimer. If you disagree, your choice is to stop using such interfaces and, if necessary, conduct your visit in dignified silence.
5.3 This Disclaimer of Agency survives:
- The end of your current visit or neural session.
- The expiration or cancellation of tickets, passes, or loyalty status.
- Any future marketing attempts to pretend we are “your trusted partner in fun.”
5.4 Nothing in this Disclaimer is intended to waive rights you cannot legally waive under applicable law. If a court finds any part of this document invalid or unenforceable in your jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect, and Sparktronics will continue not being your agent.
